The only ugly I can think of is the parking.

We really enjoyed staying at this resort. I'm sure you will too.

      Thanks! We are very excited.

Any good restaurants around there? Things to walk to?

Any "not to be missed" things in St martin?

The resort is located right in the heart of many good restaurants, a casino, jewelry stores, loads of entertainment, a grocery store (convience store) --- all sorts of nightlife.] All within walking distance -- across the street or next door.

        You will enjoy your stay.

I was on island during the hurricane last month, and it looked to me that ONLY the ground floor units were affected by the storm. However, I did NOT go onto the property, so do not quote me.
        hope this info helps,

I sent friends there last June, they loved it. The only potential negative is the very close proximity to the airport, but some say they enjoy watching the planes arrive/depart.

            Royal Islander

You have nothing to worry about the Royal Resorts are all fantastic. Apart from all the reataurants at each of the resorts there is the fabulous Captains Cove at the bottom of the hill for fantastic seafood and you will probably see Pancho...one of the Aligators! Have fun!

              Royal Islander

Ooops I am new here and misread your resort...I thought it was the Royal Islander in Cancun. Many apologies but I am sure you will still have fun!

Resort shut down due to damage from Hurricane Omar..

I have been informed that the Resort will not be operational from weeks 43 in 2008 thru to week 4 in 2009... Week 5 onward is still in limbo but is the target date for reopening.
