USVI liquor box on flight home

Hi all,

Anyone know what the airlines doing re checking in a liquor box now days on the way home... are they charging as for another luggage piece?

If you do not buy to much put it in the suit case, If you buy it at the airport after you pass security you should be able to carry it on as long as if you have a connection that will not cause you to pick up your luggage and re check it.

Actually found out that AA allows you to check without charge a box with 5 bottles. The 6th had to go into my other checked bag, some odd regulation re % of alcohol they had.

Good to know - as I will be returning to my beloved Bluebeard's BeachClub in January....and really like those cheap liquor prices - where did u ended up buying your liquor?
When we left last October the airport liquor store was out of most of our favorite brands (Grey Goose and Absolut )
