  • Two Days in Brussels?

I will be hanging out in Europe next January and was wondering whether I should start in Paris or land in Brussels first and spend a couple of days there? Is it worth it? What is there to do?

    Thanks!

We did London, Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels last year, Believe it or not We enjoyed Brussels more than we thought we would have. In fact we might have enjoyed Brussels the most. Brussels was just amazing but 2 days there is not enough you should have at least 4 days and include a day trip to Brugges just be sure to get an early start. The center market has street that lead to a different country theme like Greek, Italian, Chinese, and a block that has Chocolate or a real Belgium waffles plus a block that has all different seafood not to mention the center square where you can get French fries with different toppingsand lets not forget the world famous Manikin Piss.

Yes, it's worth a few days in Brussels/Brugge, I think.

I really loved Brugge, and Brussels, too. It's so close to Paris, it would be a shame to miss. I would spend 2 days in Brussels, and 1 full day in Brudgge.

Don't miss Brugge, it's a very special place.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Brussels is, in my opinion, definitely worth a visit. The Grote Markt itself is one of the most beautiful 'squares' in Europe. Take a look at some of the Brussels pages on this sight - and I think you will agree. If you are already in Belgium, and you are wandering around, you might want to also visit Antwerp, Ghent, Brugges, or even Leuven. All are 'worth it' !

This seems very easy to do and what a great recommendation - will definietely add this to my next trip to France.

On this site, it says it is 1 hour 22 minutes from Brussels to Paris
3 hour 20 minutes Amsterdam to Paris
1 hour 54 minutes Amsterdam to Brussels
