Hopefully no one is flying to or through the UK on Wednesday. The public employee unions are having a one day strike then, and among the unions striking is the one for immigration and customs officers. They are saying on TV that Heathrow is likely to be worst hit and warn that passengers may have to sit on arriving planes for up to 12 hours before they can get off and go through immigration.
