Amazing that they still have power thru all this flooding.

      You're right!

Long Island would be without power for weeks!

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Hope it's gone by the time we get there next month.

Well it looks like this is a common occurence because nobody seemed distressed in any of those photos.
I heard about the flooding when I toured Venice but seeing the pictures is just amazing.
You just can't imagine the place flooded like the guides tell you.
I'm glad to see they handle it so well.

I hope that it is too! Interesting tho, is that the people in the pics don't look like they really mind, all that much. Everyone seems to be having a good time, regardless, and going about their day. I guess its a unique experience, either way. Worse comes to worse, there's always boots.

These pictures are amazing - thanks!

We went last November because I'd always wanted to see acqua alta, and we did, for a few days - but not nearly this deep. I sure am glad we went last year rather than this year.

It's not that difficult to get an RCI exchange for November, guess you can see why.

Last time we were there in Nov/Dec '96, it was also flooded and we had to all walk on planks over St Marks Square, but it was not this high.
