Need info on ITALY area and resort ASAP

Have the following unit on hold. We were able to get three units for our family for june 2008, but I know nothing about the resort and can find no reviews, which makes me very nervous.

Any information would be helpful. How is driving in Italy?

It mentions a compulsary club card for 30,00 euros. RCI can give me no info about what that means. Is that per person, per day or per week? What does that include? I called the resort but they only speak Italian.

Units comprise 1br units sleeping from 2 up to 6 people with double bed, sofa beds and bunk beds. All units have shower room,partial kitchen with sink, fridge, 4 gas rings, telephone and TV. Please advise resort in advance for late arrivals. A refundable deposit is required on arrival.Major credit cards accepted. Pets are NOT allowed. During low season some facilities may not be available. The resort has a compulsory club card. On-site, there is also a bike rental and newspaper shop. resort email: info@costadelsalento.it

It sounds like It is 30 Euros Per person. What area is it in. I just got back from 3 weeks in Italy and can help with information. Also there is a lot of info in the European forum on Italy threads that I started or posted in. You should look there first. Go to that forum and do a search in that forum for Italy. There is also a very informative thread in the travel forum titled Train plane or car. I will try to find the threads and edit this post to include links when I get a chance for you.
