  • Timeshare Consumers Association Scam

As reported on several European Forums it has now come to light that the owner of the Timeshare Consumers Association a Mr Sandy Grey has been using his site to cover over the reported Miss-selling in Scotland of Sunterra clients. One report said " That this was just the tip of the Ice-berg " in relation to his web sites practices.

Mr Sandy Grey has been unavailable for comment since the withdrawl of a law firm representing a claim from the miss-sold Sunterra owners.

It has also been reported that he is the owner of a site called Crimeshare.net which specialises in reporting on fraudulent practices but omits certain companies.

I have read the theory of yourself and one other person on www.timesharetalk.co.uk have put out about TCA and Grey that they are somehow in the pay of Sunterra to run interference against angry members.
What other boards has this been on? I have also read the theory that Grey is also the editor of Crimeshare, a site with a VERY different spin than TCA.

If VOGAS was set up as you allege merely to sweep the legal claims against Sunterra under the rug, it strikes me as very odd that a law firm would willingly and knowingly participate in such a scam. But it also strkes me as odd that they have not moved forward on the matter.

There are some things odd here, but it is really hard to beleive that Grey would be the force behind Crimeshare. I have discounted another poster on Timesharetalk who seems to always want to tie Grey to Canaltime, which he is in a dispute with.

Well with the help of this forum and another(TST) it appears that everything comes out in the wash eventually.
Well done to the original posters, and watch out as there is another new angle that Grey has started, lets hope this one will not end up in court for the wrong reasons again.

Crimeshare was a more valuable resource to timeshare owners than was the Organization for Timeshare in Europe that hounded it out of existance. Yes, it was a bit freewheeling, but there was also useful information there. It would much rather see OTE, the developers organization, put out of business.

Crimeshare was where Ian Podesta first started his campaign that exposed the scams at Sunterra and led to its collapse, for example.
