Thanks Frank!!! I just got in, and read your reply. I called, and left a message on his voice mail. Hopefully, he will get back to me.

He worked with me and spent a lot of time with me, and at the end I went up in car class and ended up with a car that has built in Navigation for about $100 more then what I was spending for the 2 weeks. You do have to shop around so he can beat the price. I found that carjet gives you the CDW but that has a deductible. If you use carrentles.com that does not give you the extra CDW insurance and there prices are lower. Just be sure to use Amex.

          Frank,

I am still waiting for him to get back to me. It was late afternoon here, when I called, so maybe he'll call tomorrow.

I'll be careful with the insurance, thanks!!!

            car rental

I have been to Marbella 6 times. NEVER rent from a US national company. You will pay too much. Check with your car insurance company to see if you need to get insurance. We googled car rentals in Spain and shopped competitively each time. Every year, a different company gave us the best rate. If you want to stay a second week, I have a 2 bedroom villa at Marriott Marbella for rent June 13-20 for $1000. If you are going to the Marriott, DON"T listen to the sales pitch. The sales office gave us all bad information on income potential. I think I have lost about $33,000 plus a lifetime of maintenance fees moving forward.

            Thanks!!!!

                    Yeah, me too.

My first thought was.....Never mind that I forgot to rent a car, I forgot that I was even going.
