  • RCI European inventory falling?

Europe is one of the areas I look at most often on RCI, and lately, I don't seem to be seeing near the volume of exchange weeks I used to. My tiger trader still sees some really great stuff from time to time, like Chateau de Maulmont in France and the resort in central Vienna, that doesn't show up too often, but there just seems to be a lot less inventory than one would see in past years. That is particularly true for England and the non-Landal German resorts. It is even true in shoulder season, when there is a lot less choice to pick from.

Oh well, I guess that means RCI's rental inventory must really be fat these days!

I have noticed the same thing -
DAE seems to be the way to go for Europe now
    - althought if you look at the II exchange board - I was getting a lot of shoulder Europe using a standard resort - Ocean Club at Smugglers Beach Cape Cod 1BR 5/30 check-in.

I would think you'd find that missing inventory in EV since RCI allegedly makes all their inventory available for members

I've noticed that for a while now. In 2005 I had 3 different England weeks to choose from in August, now if you want to go in summer you are going to Wales.

Can't say when was the last time I saw, Scotland, Ireland, Rome or Venice in a season someone would like to go. I may do a search to see.

I know the european RCI members see a lot more than we do with american accounts.

With the Euro where it is, I wonder why there is not more inventory. I have seen alot of new exchanges in the exchange opps. Maybe your VEP is to high?

I too have noticed a definite increase in II for Europe. I figured it was due to less people traveling abroad due to the dollar/Euro difference. but, who knows.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.
