  • Metropole Opera Vs. Royal Regency Paris

Is there a significant enough difference between these 2 to justify switching around travel arrangements?
It seems that MOP is more central, other than that I would appreciate any advice!
    TIA

    Hi Happymum,

Which resort did you go with? I just booked the Royal Regency Paris for Nov 2010 and I wanted to see if anyone had been there or had thoughts on it...

    Thanks !

Amanda, I really had trouble choosing, so I tried my usual solution - I took both!
(If it works for buying shoes, it should work for timeshares too! )
I really should have written reviews but thats in my pile of "to Dos".
We spent the first week at Metropole Opera, which was very centrally located.
The following week we were at Royal Regency which had much more spacious units, but did involve more travel time.
I would certainly stay there again, and it was interesting to be in a true suburb. Definitely a different feel from central Paris.
I know you will have a great trip! Enjoy.

I like your reasoning, and have done the same exact thing, with shoes, dresses, timeshares, hotels, etc.

        No not with husbands, although.........

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

          Hahahaha ! Great idea

I'm glad that you enjoyed the trip. I'm really looking forward to it. The last time I was in Paris with my sister we didn't have trouble finding our way around using the metro, so hopefully now that I am 9 years wiser, it will be that much easier and also be a good opportunity to see more of the area..

Please let me know if you have any reccomendations about where to go in Vincennes(restaurants around the resort, and other attractions) -- and also what your favorite things to do in Paris were... it will be my husband's first time..

Now I just have to learn French... good new years resolution for 2010..
