PLZ help ASAP -Can I cancel RCI Points week online?

I search RCI Points and don't find exactly what I want. So I confirm so I have until tomorrow to think about it. THEN exactly what I want is available.

It states "Sorry, you don't have enough points to confirm this reservation. you cannot rent more than 50% of your Annual Points Allocation to complete this transaction."

It's 12:45 AM EST now. Can I cancel the less desirable option ONLINE tonight or does a VC need to do it for me tomorrow (when it might no longer be available)?

You can only cancel via a VG.

What do you need. I can hold it/confirm it and then cancel it tomorrow during the day and time the release after you've canceled yours so you'll have your points back to book it.

Your offer is generous beyond expectations. It is great to meet wonderful people like you because of TS4MS.

I managed to take care of this with a VG when they opened this morning.

As I searched for 6 Jun - 13 Jun 2009 reservations last night a lot of things happened for the first time for me. I clicked on one resort for a studio (lowest number of points) entered our credit card number etc and seemed to be in a 'loop' with 'continue' at the bottom of the page. I had two computers on and was able to figure out that someone else got the unit while I was trying to finish the confirmation.

On another attempt, the screen stated something like "Someone else might have reserved this unit" after I entered my credit card number.

When I search "Europe" in RCI Points Standard Reservations sometimes some European resorts DO NOT show up. But if I modify and click "Italian Cities" they do.
