Il Poggio transportation?

Hi!

I've just put a hold on Il Poggio in Tuscany, Italy. It is in the Tuscan country side and looks very nice, although quite remote. I've been to Florence before, so I don't mind not staying in the centre of things, but I'm also quite concerned about its remoteness. Has anyone been to Il Poggio? Is the resort manageable without a car? Is it easy to get there from the train station or airport by public transport; and do they have day tours, shuttles or public transport to nearby towns?

I see that this question never got a reply. I just put this on hold and have the same question. Any information about Il Poggio would be most appreciated!
