(#RCI 8659) Warwickshire -Paramount Walton Hall Hotel and Spa
Barceló Walton Hotel is surrounded by 65 acres of gardens and lakes in the heart of Shakespeares England. Self catering accommodation is situated with in a converted Stable block and Cottages located in the grounds. Some of Englands most beautiful tourist attractions such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace (home of the Churchills), Coventry Cathedral and the Cotswold Villages are close by.
I have until tomorrow to cancel this resort for 13 Jun 2009 check-in. I am concerned that the reviews seem to trash the place. I think it might be undergoing renovations and it depends on whether someone got a renovated unit or not.
We have Akeld Manor and Country Club (#3816) reserved 8-15 Jun which is 4 hours north. This creates an overlap of 2 days. We need to be on a cruise ship the night of June 19, so we'd only use 4 days at most in Warwickshire.
I went to Warwick Castle: Home about 20 years ago before Madame Tussand's bought it but my husband hasn't been.
Any thoughts of better options for June 15 - 19, 2009? Or if the reviews are off-based and this is a nice place?
