Definitely check out Trip Advisor's Ireland page. There are lots of questions there about various itenerarys and lots of good answers. Lots of information on B&B's also, and restaurants, and various sights, and......just lots of information.

      Connemara Country Cottages

Pat, I read your review - Less then acceptable condition of unit from 2007. I reserved an RCI exchange for 2011 week 24 in Connemara Country Cottages. If the heating had been working do you think you would have stayed? We would have 6 to 8 people including me and my 2 children (5 and 10) and brother with his daughter (14) (3 generations from 92-5 years old) and plan on renting 2 cars- one for the early risers and one for the late risers; thank goodness for long days because it takes my grandmother a while (11am) to get going. If she is unable to travel with us we might revise the plans. I'm 37 and haven't been to Ireland since my grandmother took my brother and me when I was 9 and he was 11. At that time we rented a car and stayed in farmhouse B&B's for 2 weeks.

We were thinking about staying a second week (June 18-25) in B&B's or maybe a walking tour for those between 14-45. I would like to stay longer but can't get off work (or affore) more than 2 weeks.

Anyone with experience at Connemarra Country Cottages or Ireland in general, please share your thoughts. For this trip we are primarily interested in the West of Ireland and would probably be skipping Dublin.

      Thank you.

      Tracey
