  • Greetings from Ireland - Dublin visit, Pictures

    Greetings from Dublin......

I am here spending a week at The Shelbourne Hotel The Shelbourne Dublin, a Renaissance Hotel, 5 Star Luxury Hotel Dublin City Centre, Ireland which I booked using Marriott Reward Points.

I will be back later today to post more links and pictures - we had a lovely evening with Ireland's Call Garry and his wife Marjorie - they took us to the seaside town of Howth Howth Harbor and Ireland's Eye - County Dublin for dinner at a waterfront restaurant Aqua Aqua Restaurant Howth - we felt as if we were on a cruise ship!
We also could see Ireland's Eye - a small coastal island that looks like 'an eye'.

Garry, Pat, Marjorie and Tom enjoying dinner (and is that a Guinness?)overlooking the Irish Sea....

    More later......
    Pat

Oh- I love the Shelbourne. I stayed there a few years ago when I went to Dublin to see Barry Maniloe at The Pointe.

      Enjoy.....

Give Garry/Ireland's Call a big hug (and Marjorie). They're great folks.

Visit my cousin's Irish Knit factory in Tragumna, south of Skibberrean (sp?) -Trag Knitwear. Tell them you know me...... on second thought, don't admit to it.

Looks like my kind of place! Not sure how south we'll go, but adding it to my list - I would rather spend my tourist dollars "with family."

                      Thanks for the link!
