Il Poggio has different RCI #s for regular v half-board - I'm guessing most do. But I'm also guessing that regular deposits for exchange are going to be few and far between now that the "resorts" want half-board exchangers.
Funny you mention that. I just looked for the next 24 months and only the half board is availble...what a surprise

Well I can't seem to find the Il Poggio half-boards, but La Ferriera half board is 364 Euros pp/pw and there is no discount for partial stays. Of course there are plenty of weeks to choose from...
And how does breakfast plus dinner equal "half" board?!!
If u could barter with someone who had RHC Points, they have properties in Florence that is very well located as well as Rome. In fact they have many nice European Capital locations.

I did not have time to look threw the thread but I just came back from Amsterdam. We stayed at a 5 star resort right in the center square, /got it from Price line for less than the cost of a timeshare. I have to look but I think it was $75 a night or $110 a night, One was Belgium the other was Amsterdam.

That's great! I love Priceline. We just used PL for Barcelona, it wasn't that low, but it was far better than anything else on the net and we made the plans on 36 hours notice.

The last La Ferreira I saw with out AI was for check in June 12, 2010 and confirmed around mid July 2008. Not long after that all I saw for La Ferreira was half board.
It seems to be Italy only at this point, but I would expect other resorts with on site full service restaurants to go that way. It is just another way to gouge the exchanger imho.
