We had a great time at La Jolla Boutique Resort in our last vacations.
"Mazatlan was the nicest place we have ever travel. We stayed at La Jolla Boutique Resort, the architecture and resort layout it´s a 5 star. the weather was just great, the entire week 86-88 degrees.
We stayed in a villa which had comfortable rooms and a super clean maid service, we got fresh towels in the afternoon and then again at night. Kitchen it´s fully equipped too.
Beach is nice for long morning walks and viewing from the pool. We did also swim in the ocean and water was warm. There was always plenty of umbrella tables and chairs available and we could find a nice spot by the pool facing the beach every morning. Great sunsets from pool or beach facing ocean.
Professional and Quality service and appearance of entire resort. Grounds, pools and Villas were all amazing. The resort and the city was so wonderful we hated to leave, great sea food and awesome views along the city. We also did a 5 hour city tour which included panoramic views of Mazatlan bay from parachute sailing. We went to the MEGA Market Store once at the beginning of week to get breakfast food, drinks and snacks and just went to the convenience store two other times to get some additional items.
We loved this resort which will be even better in the next years since it´s located in a quiet, calm and virgin beaches and at the Noevo Mazatlan Area.

We own at LaJolla and are heading to Mazatlan next week. We will stay at Publeo Bonito Emerald Bay the first week and then we will stay in our 2-bedroom villa unit at the LaJolla for the entire month of June.

We were the only guests there last June, but we were really pleased with our unit and the housekeeper & her husband who is a maintenance person were very friendly. We did not have much interaction with anyone else there as by noon, pretty much everyone was gone and we had the resort to ourselves. After we checked in and got our keys, we just did our own thing. There was a security guard at the guard station 24/7 who was friendly and would lock/unlock the parking area for us whenever we went somewhere. We loved having our own private vacation place with a nice pool and huge stretch of beach.

I know that people who bought RCI points for Tower units are not happy because there does not seem to be any work going on with that building - only the 4 villa buildings have been completed.

I will report from LaJolla while we are there and update my Picasa photos to show if anything has been done since last summer.
