Sol Melia Cozumel All Inclusive How many days to take

I am going to The sol Melia in Cozumel, They offered me a great deal only $50 PP per day 3 meals and drinks included. But they only have a pool restaurant a buffet that changes daily and 1 good restaurant. I need to take a 5 day per payment plan min to get it for $50 a day other wise it is $60 a day at the resort. Should I do 5, 6 or 7 days this sounds cheap not sure how the food is but I am sure it will be costing me much more to eat out, Has anyone had the food here should I just take the 5 or go to 6 days?

I don't know the answer, but whatever you do, get their frequent guest card. It gets you a buy one, get one free on the breakfasts, and is pretty generous with points/free rooms.

Thanks for reminding me about that, I had one the last time I went to the Gran Melia in Cancun which is where we are heading on our 2nd week. I recall now saying that with the discount card we were better off not doing so many days of AI. I think the AI deal here is cheap but we find we tend to over eat way to much when it is an AI resort.
