  • Torrenza will not refund monies owed

    Hello everyone,
We bought at the Torrenza in February of 2010.
We then started seeing indicators that this was not on the up and up.

After looking at the internet, we realized we quite likely gave our $20,000 over to a business that is not on the up and up.

Within the 5 day grace period, we canceled our contract using Profeco (We were still in Mazatlan).

XYZ decided in our favour, and the Torrenza lawyer agree'd to refund our money.

    Guess what? Still no refund.
    This is completely amazing.

I also created a web site detailing what has, and has not, been happening.
    http://www.torrenza.biz/

Research your purchase well before you hand over any money.

Torrenza clearly operates outside of the law. Be aware!
Torrenza seems to be a complete scam and fraud.

DO NOT GIVE THE TORRENZA ANY MONEY. As far as I know, there is still no construction happening. Will there ever be a building?

Quick update............. Still no movement. I call the Torrenza and they refer me to their lawyer. Their lawyer does not return calls or emails. He is working out of La Jolly (Kind of funny, really).

    I'm sure others are interested.

There is another Profeco meeting scheduled for March 2nd. Im betting the Torrenza lawyer will be a no show again.

Moderators, please edit my post above about Mr Aguirre, removing my incorrect information about him, email address and contact information. Done

After contacting me, it turns out Lic. Ivo Aguirre Quevedo is one of the good guys.

I had been given bad information.

Lic. Ivo Aguirre Quevedo is a lawyer in Mazatlan, and is very familiar with the time share issues people are having with certain companies. He does not, nor has he ever, done work for Torrenza.

I would like to appologize to Mr. Aguirre.
