At Lake Capala, Mexico today

Arrived at Mexican Hotel at Lake Chapala - QQ - The Finest Accommodations / Lodging at Lake Chapala Mexico yesterday, Friday about 5 pm. Wondering if Bezerk/Pam or any of the other TS4MS members who live in/near Lake Chapala today.

We drove from Cancun/Playa del Carmen. Thursday night stayed at Marriott Puebla. The new toll roads from Puebla to Chapala especially the road North around Mexico City were fantastic!

We check into Puerto Vallarta Resort - Velas Vallarta Suite Resort & Convention Center tonight.

Hey, have a great stay.
I love Mexico. We used to go there about every other year but my wife is a bit skidish for now so we didn't book there this past year. I will give her a couple of years and then try to get back there.
Have never been where you are and would love to hear about your stay when you return.
Again have a great time.

We are at Puerto Vallarta Resort - Velas Vallarta Suite Resort & Convention Center until at least February 5. PM me if you want the room number. I think the last time we were at Velas you were there part of the time but left before I realized you were there.

Hi Chriskre,

We flew a Ford Master Service Technician also certified in Ford Hybrids to fix our Ford Escape Hybrid. Ford never notified us of the recall regarding the hybrid battery harness. Ford Motor Company does not sell or service Hybrids in Mexico. We sincerely appreciate all the advice and help we received online.

Lake Chapala

Hi Georgeann,

I am new to the forum and just signed up today thanks to your post. I get Google alerts on Lake Chapala because I will be traveling there next month.

Looks like you do allot of traveling. The drive from Playa del Carmen to Chapala must have been days!!!! I have been to playa and loved the 5th avenue but it did not seem like the place I want to retire.

Researching more about Chapala I decided to take a tour there for 7 days, going with a company called GoMexicoWay on a discovery tour Tours of Lake Chapala Mexico, Ajijic, San Juan Cosala | GoMexicoWay

If you are there now, can you fill me in on how you like it? I am so excited about going and seeing if I like Lake Chapala better or San Miguel.

Have you been to San Miguel? Did you like? What did you like?
Seems people who retire or live here like it better there than San Miguel. And people in San Miguel like it better there.
Personally I like it better Lake Chapala, slightly cheaper, Lake, oh the lake....close to Guadalajara...( airport, shopping, major hospitals, doctors, well everything).
Be happy to answer any ?? to help.
I have never driven as far as flexible from Playa....long way..my parents have done that trip though...
Anyway welcome again...
