  • Finally getting decent weather

It has been so cool but today is 79 F so warm in the sun but still very nice in the shade. It's been great for walking long walks on the beach but forget going in the ocean as it feels even cool to the feet. JMHO.

The pool, at the Buganvilias, was freezing too while mostly it is tolerable but they changed the equipment on the day before we left and then many people were using it again so it was warm enough.

We have met up with several forum people so far and will meet more in the next few weeks but will miss a few too because they are arriving when we are leaving here to go to our fixed week/units on Maui. I hope that it is warmer there and the ocean too.

We have seen whales from our balcony and hope to see many more on Maui. To me that is a highlight. Yesterday, we saw a crocodile coming out of the lake, when we walked by it on the street. Never a dull moment.

I am really looking forward to meet bezerk on the 21st.

I just got home last night. winds were fierce, even for day time in San Jose (wanted to go early then enjoy Gallery Walk Thurs eve). I got out of van in shorts and tshirt and my first purchase was a long sleeve jacket with hood.

The last couple days were warmer, sunnier, maybe into 80s ( we didn't check, just enjoyed) but I was the last in the pool at sunset the last night and it was a Very Cold Walk to the towel. and then right for hot shower. most of us from midwest were wearing pants in the eves if we weren't in the hot tub.

chilly on the balcony in the eve. shorts with long sleeves and blanket was fine. you know, if you're sipping the good stuff out there watching shooting stars. non-drinkers may wish to bundle.

the whales are out in force, we were not disappointed!!!

tried surfing for the first time, too. water was fine, winds were hard to take. surf got rough.

Got it warmed up for you, go enjoy!

oh, and we're looking at -10 to -20 windchills here tonight.

Cabo may not have been HOT for what we were doing, but it beat the crap out of ice and snow and we sure enjoyed some outdoor fun.

Yesterday there was a short period of fog in PV...very strange, as it looked like clouds whizzing by, and it was below the building tops.
