I am curious how this merger happened and how the Mayan and the Wyndham work together.
By the way, it seems to me that the Mayan might be trying to clean up their act, as they say over the pond. The Wyndham is the largest company in the world for timeshare, please someone correct me if I am wrong. This is what I heard. Anyway, I would just like to say that the overriding opinion on the websites that I have come across are all very pro-change regarding the Mayan stance toward timeshare presentations and pressuring unduly the potential buyer into a sale. This can also mean that they manipulate the truth and that is what most people object to.....it leads to bad feeling and no one benefits in the end. Can't the Mayan just take the matter less aggressively and learn to live and let live! I mean life is short, and you don't have to make if a misery for others just to make a profit....as in the end this sort of tactic does not bear good fruit. They should see that being more philosophical can take them somewhere instead of being just plain avaricious (greedy).
In the end they have to settle with people whom they have mislead and that just takes more time and energy and money. Adopt a simple and fair policy toward the other. To quote a famous author : "Do as you would be done by". Put yourself in the other person's shoes and see how you would feel in that position yourself. It is a good guideline as to how to proceed in any matter. Of course a business must make money, but it has to have a good reputation before anyone will take it seriously. Reputation is more valuable than money, and it goes a lot further than money in the long run! Think about it!
