Los Tules Puerto Vallarta

We are having a family reunion in May 2007. RCI has us at the Park Royal Los Tules in a 3BR condo. and the unit # V6212. I have tried different sites to see the resort layout and condo layout and to see if that condo has a ocean view. I have had no luck.
Does anyone know about this condo. It will be our first time there.

My wife and I stayed at Los Tules last year and really enjoyed it. It's an older resort but is well maintained and the units are quite large. Most of them seem to be two story so you will probably have a patio and a balcony or two balconies. They are furnished in an authentic Mexican style and may be a little dated but are kept very clean. The maid comes in daily and we found that by leaving 200 pesos (about $2) each time that we always had fresh flowers and towels folded into all types of whimsical shapes.

The grounds are beautiful and there are seven or eight pools scattered throughout. The restaurant on site is reasonably priced and serves fairly good food. All of the staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful.

There is a large grocery store (Gigante) and shopping mall directly across the street so it's easy to stock up on whatever supplies you need. Also the bus stops right in front of the resort and you can get into town for about 40 cents.

I don't know about the location of unit #v6212 but I got the impression that it's highly unlikely that anybody actually get's the unit# as shown on the RCI confirmation. I'd suggest that you call a couple of days B-4 arriving and request an oceanview (make sure you get the name of whoever helps you).

Sorry to correct you Bill 20 pesos is about $ 2 . 200 pesos is about $ 20 US
Dont give away your money needlessly. 2 to 3 bucks a day has the maids very happy in our experiences.

Tari, I just emailed you some Los Tules pictures taken from our former ownership week 52 unit 406 Building 6 at Los Tules. I think by the number 6 being the first one in your reservation then you may be in building number 6.

I had Tug post the building layout map in their resort reviws but they do not seem to be there anymore since they went to the new Tug Reviews. Sorry to say, I also looked at home but could not find that map.

Los Tules

Unit 6212 is a second floor unit, not only with an ocean view but may be actually be ocean front. It is a second floor unit, all on one floor. We have been going to Los Tules since 1984 and love it. It is very quiet and peaceful and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. The units are huge. Have a great trip!
