I just read that the Royal Sands (and I assume the other Royals) is also changing to AI - a real loss to the TS community in Cancun. There are not many quality resorts where u can go anymore. It makes more sense to stay at a hotel where u can chose your dinning options.

First time I went I thought it was the best in that area. I went bake 3 years later well looks like things changed. We had biting ants in our room AC no longer working threw out the resort lines for the buffet were a joke. Back then it was a choice if you wanted to take a part AI or not. They could not have enough for the people then so if now they are doing a mandatory AI no thank you.

Looks like the Spiders gave up but those ants were no way giving up. We had bite marks all over and our faces included. They sprayed our room every day but I think they must have used sugar water cause only more came out. We had a ocean front room they were willing to down grade us not upgrade us. This was my last Trip using what was my last RTU Sol Melia week. There was no way in the world I was going to renew after that trip. Real shame since 3 years prior the place was in my top 5. Now maybe top 100
