Question CUN - Cancun Airport

We are flying Delta and our daughter is flying American. It shows us both using Terminal 3. She gets in about 2 hours after we do and leaves about 2 hours before us. We are thinking that we don't want her to have to deal with her first visit to Mexico by herself. So we are going to wait at the Airport. Where would be the best place to wait so that we can tell her. We will probably want to get a snack and will have our 13 year old Granddaughter with us.

Eric, I do not think you are going to want to wait. It is not like there are shops or restaurants when you are there. What you have are TS crocks trying to snag you. I would recommend you use Brant Boston and have him pick you up and her. I have used him and recommended him many times as has Tony. He has even posted here. I can send him an email to see if he can help out and post here so he can guide you.

That is when you enter the airport after security, Not when you exit.

I haven't been there for quite some time, but there was no place comfortable for arrivals to wait in the past.

I have waited for other arrivals just inside the door as you exit customs, but had to sit on the floor because there are no seats. Not comfortable but not too hard to find.

I think there is a restaurant called the "meeting point" outside of the arrival terminal 2 and 3. Just past the meeting point is a palapala bar called coconuts.

NEW -Outside arrival terminal 2 and arrival terminal 3, there is a waiting area/restaurant called the "Meeting Point". That is the best place to wait for an arriving passenger.
