I've noticed recently that there are very few package deals for Cancun. The only ones I saw in this Sunday's ad were for the AI palace resorts. This may just be another indication that Cancun is going more upscale.

Well it is possible to end up with a better class of drug cartel there. They're fighting for territory in the resort areas now. Enjoy your trip.

I'm not tripping.
I don't recall anything about the Cancun area being involved with drug cartels and violence. Maybe that's why there seems to be little available.
