Cancun newbie needs grocery help this weekend

Heading to Royal Mayan for newbie Cancun trip this weekend.

Where do you get groceries conveniently?

All the Royals have their own store. The best one is at the Royal Caribbean for the tri-Royals. You can pick up some things there and then you could also go downtown and shop and Chedraui, Walmart or Sam's Club if you need a lot of things. We usually shop after dinner when we dine downtown.

If you don't need much then the Royals store is the most convenient. If you want to stock up you can save some money by going to Wal-Mart. It's good to go at least once just for the experience. You take the R2 bus and it lets you off a couple minutes away from the store. Ask the driver or others on the bus where to get off, otherwise you'll end up in the middle of nowhere!
