Surfing Spots along the Mayan Riviera?

We're off to Mexico shortly. Does anyone know of any surfing spots along the Mayan coast? I know Cabo has more but we're hoping to catch some waves near the MP area. We will have a car so getting there won't be a big problem.

I think that you will be pretty disappointed if you are hoping to do any surfing there. We have not seen any waves at all in that area.

Thanks John. I've come to that realization. I found a couple websites for Mexico but it seems all the surfing places and schools are on the Pacific side. I guess we won't be taking the surfboard for this trip.

About the only chance you would have of surfing there might be in the early fall, when the surf seems to be higher, but even then the waves may not be big enough.
