  • How is Cancun in November?

How is Cancun in November- is it a good time to go weather-wise, beach-wise, etc.?
I was thinking it might be a nice 60th Ann. trip to take my parents on, but I wanted to make sure I was picking a good time.

Marvelous. Not too hot and warm enough (usually). My favorite time of year to visit.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

        Thanks for the info..

Thanks Angela- as usual, you're the one to turn to for sightings. Actually, I was thinking about a Getaway week since I don't want to give up my Aruba week in January.

Do you have an AC from II?
At that time of year you should be able to get a unit with in 60 days.

            Pat- no, I don't :-(.

How available are 2 BR's with AC's then for one of the Royals?

BTW- did III ever make a concession for your recent mix-up there?

Also- maybe I should ask this in a sep. thread- how are the trips to the ruins, and how difficult is the terrain? I'd love to take my parents there- they are both independent, but don't have the stamina they used to. Are Chichen-Itza and/or Tulum fairly easy to walk (not climbing the ruins- that I know wouldn;t work)? Any suggestions?

Tulum and Chitzen-Itza and rather level sites, however they tend to get very hot and can be exhausting, particularly Chitzen-Itza which is much larger and inland.

The Sands should be a great trip for you - really nice location.

As another option - the Royals run a day trip to their other location on the Riviera Maya - Royal Hacienda - it would be a nice ride thru the countryside and a different location for the day. The cost is minimal (but remember they are trying to sell you a TS - say NO!)
If you fall in love with the Royals, there are MANY available for resale.

I'm allergic to paying full price for anything . I was lucky enough to discover this forum and Tug before buying in Aruba.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into the other area; sounds like it could be a nice day trip.
