Caution, we were swindled by the sales office

My wife and I stayed at the Hacienda del Mar Vacation Club over a year ago and liked the resort enough that we signed up for what seemed like a good deal. When we stayed at the resort for the first time, we found out that we were swindled into purchasing something different then what we were told (and the contract was cleverly worded to read like what they had told us which was an every-year program, but they claim was an every-other-year program). Plus they promised huge discounts on restaurant and bar purchases, all of which were bogus.

We complained to them multiple times and got Profeco involved, and then Hacienda del Mar cancelled the contract, but kept half the money for the whole contract saying that is what we owed for staying the one week (about $6000 for one week!!!). We were horrified that this happened to us. I will never go back to Hacienda del Mar again!!!
