SF Bay Area to Mazatlan...Best Airline?
I usually fly from Atlanta, but I'm thinking of heading to Bay Area to visit friends, then heading south to Mazatlan. What is the best airline to be watching for sales out of SFO, San Jose or Oakland? Are the best deals and frequency always out of LAX? If so, what is a cheap and frequent airline that shuttles back and forth between LAX and SFO and allows ticketing based on one-way purchase? Thanks in advance for helping an East Coast gal!

Alaska out of SF or LA. Or US Air out of SF or LA, but SF goes to Phoenix for a transfer (think LA does too, but not sure). Both fairly reliable TO MZT, neither one very much so coming back...

Since you say you fly often out of Atlanta, I figure you're likely a Delta Frequent Flyer. Alaska is also a FF partner with Delta. so if you have FF miles on Delta, you may be able to use them to get to MAZ.“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

I just did a search on Alaskan Airlines/Horizon Air from SFO and Oakland and I found SFO is cheaper than Oakland to go to Mazatlan by a considerably amount $$$
