The people below us got their unit from TPI too and you can also rent from some of the timeshare owners here as I found this web page by searching for rentals but I don't know if they are part of the Giddings Company where we picked up our book?

Mrs. Giddings told us that her office also has rental units available. Their email address is giddingsco@aol.com and their phone number is 949-640-8740. I told her that I would put in a plug for her rentals at this forum as so many timesharers would like to go there too and exchanges are hard to get. She said that was OK with her. The service was wonderful and the people there are so friendly and helpful too.

You would really like it Frank. Your anniversary date is still a good time to go and not too hot yet. You are used to the hot and humid weather which we are not.

Thanks but how can I tell which villas are two BR with pool. Villa #'s I and II are the least expensive so I am assuming they are at the lower level 1BR with no pool???????? The higher villa numbers are on top with the best views?????

Floor plans

We visited the couple in villa 1. It is a smaller unit but still has an ocean view but there is no pool. They have a Jacuzzi. We never saw villa 2 but all the villas higher up have a panoramic view of the whole bay.

My horseback riding buddy's mom has been giving me the 5th degree about this week I got you Emmy. She is a big time II trader. I told her it wasn't a good place for them as K's Dad has very bad knees but that doesn't mean K's mom wants to let go how I got you a villa there.

Another WOW. This has been on my list for fantasy exchanges but so far all I've seen have been the 1BR unit. I am holding out for the 2BR preferably from November-March. I know that would be a difficult trade but I will keep looking.

Good luck on that one! I looked for years and finally got in the last two weeks of October a couple years ago. Lucked out into a 2 br unit, villa 6, and got to stay two weeks in a row in same villa. It's very photogenic indeed...but definitely not for anyone who's not physically fit and good with stairs.

Lawren, I will be for ever grateful to you that you spotted this week, etc...... I have another story about it but would only tell this in person. I must have told you on the phone already.

I keep looking at the pictures and at the beautiful book too and imagine that I am still there. For us, it was a wonderful experience but it may not be for everyone. Some people want A/C, a kitchen with oven and microwave, dishwasher, TV etc. but having someone cook for you and it costs you less than eating out is priceless. She really enjoyed doing it too. The staff was wonderful and would do anything to please us and we were not even an owner. We are going to visit them just to say hi this month and deliver the pictures that I took of the staff. We have many more pictures of them than I posted here.

We were a little disappointed with the weather. It was never clear and the ocean nice and blue. To see this, you have to go at a different time of the year like after the rainy season or in the winter.
