Well, I left my $100 max in on each week and won one at $11.50

You'll find out soon enough. The seller appears to have limited ebay experience, so may risk negative feedback and refuse to sell at that price. Let us know!

If those are the 2 I saw, they were badly set up and did not headline that they were at the Sands. I think the seller got an F in Ebay 101.

Seller is violating ebay policy. They aren't going to care, and it won't get you the weeks, but you can leave negative feedback and report them to ebay as a non-compliant seller. You can let the seller know that you are going to do that beforehand, but I'm guessing it's not worth it to them to let the weeks go for nothing. If you are willing to pay more, you can offer up to your max, but sounds like the seller is pretty clueless.

Keep in mind that if you leave neg feedback they can do the same to you. Now I believe that real estate transactions on Ebay are not subject to the same rules and either the seller or buyer can back out.

Well, the thought of staying 2 weeks at The Royal Sands for the few minutes between winning auctions and receiving email from seller was fun...

I still have the Mayan Palace to look forward to in 4 weeks!!!

Sure beats the hell out of the freezing rain and snow thats outside right now!!!!

I won a timeshare at Tahoe for next to nothing in the real estate/timeshare sales area of eBay and it turned out to be a rental. No mention of "rental" was anywhere in the ad. We both agreed to cancel the transaction and walk away from the experience. There were no signs of fraud, just poor english skills. Perhaps it was the same lister for the Mexican rental? Gary

Sorry!!! You still have the Mayan Palace, and you'll have a ball. It will be great to escape the winter, even if only for a week. Enjoy!!

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Make sure you file a complaint with PayPal to at least get your $14.25 back.

I just looked at the listing, and they have included "Travel Verified Seller" and "Square Trade." You might report the seller to to those agencies to get them removed from that qualification too.
