Cancun Questions...

DH has decided it is Cancun for us next Feb. since his friend just got home and loved it. I need to put in a request soon. Anyhow, I had started looking into Cancun before but have some more questions:

Which resort would meet most of these requirements?
1. Nice beach for families
2. Great pool area
3. Kids activities
4. Close to restaurants and shopping

I know the Royals are nice but I imagine there are others. TIA!

I would go for the Royals. If a calm water beach is best, Club International is a good choice. Better decide soon and get a request in as February can be a tough trade, particularly Presidents' week.

I love the "Tri-Royals" - Royal Caribbean, Royal Islander, Royal Mayan - 3 resorts all connected, several rstaurant choices.
That said, the new Westin Timeshare will be open by then, but I doubt there will be any deposits for Jan-March.

Thank you both, I think I will put in a request for the Royals and we'll see what happens. I have been checking the all-inclusive rates as well and they aren't bad, so I guess worse case we won't use an exchange if we can't get a good one in Feb.
