Hacienda Del mar Cabo 3 br unit question

I have never been to mexico, I booked 2 3 bedroom units for Nov. What is this room and resort like, any input is appreciated, we are trying to figure out who to bring, each unit sleeps 10, but really want to know how many would fit comfortably with a little privacy, thanks. Sean

We had a 3 BR there about 4 years ago so memory is a little hazy. I believe 8 would be about max without being crowded. The rooms were large and comfortable. Adequate kitchen, but the unit was 2 rows of buildings and a parking lot away from the beach and pool area. HDM is a ways away from town so if you plan to go to town often rent a car. There is bus service with a 3/4 mile walk and taxis are expensive. Speaking of expensive , so is the food at HDM. Happy hour rotates each hour to a different pool area so if you move with it drinks work out pretty reasonable and happy hour lasts 3 hours.
