We are going to Cancun

Some of you may remember that I was considering cancelling our Cancun trip on March 11th.

We decided not to cancel and are going. Given what I'm hearing about the beach restoration, I'm glad...even though I'm not a beach person. (At least there will be less people at the pool!)

Anyone know if La Isla is open yet?

We haven't made plans for transportation...but I think we will be using Cancun Valet. Vic sent me a long e-mail about what would be best for our family's situation as far as activities, and I really appreciated that.

Anyone at the Royals that week?

Sharon that is great news. To bad Brant did not work out for you. I recomend still trying to buy his 2 for 1 card as it will save you alot. Also the bank accross the street fron the Royals has a good exchange rate but changes daily. Are you coming to Sunday Brunch this weekend? Look in the NY forum.

I received an E-Mail from the Royals today. In part it read:

"La Isla Shopping Village is now welcoming shoppers again. The Interactive Aquarium, most of the restaurants and shops ranging from boutiques and craft outlets to jewelry stores are open. Some of the larger stores and the new shops in the second phase also sport banners announcing that they will be opening soon.

On the nightlife scene, Coco Bongo nightclub is now open and The City opens on March 3. Other developments in the Hotel Zone include the installation of new statues in the central gardens along Kukulcan Boulevard. Illuminated nightly by spotlights in several colors, they are reproductions of famous sculptures from the Mayan archaeological site of Chichen Itza. "

Brant's 2X1 is back - with some changes

It is now up again with some new rules/changes etc...
3 New Rules for the EP card:
You get a $15 coupon for Lorito Joes Restaurant when you order a card
You do not have to order a card to get the best prices on tours
If dining after 5pm, you have to order 1 extra food item to get 2x1 meals.
