Plaza Pelicanos 2 Was Taken Over By Shell Vacations A Few Years Ago So Its A Gold Crown And 1 Is Not Figure That Out. I Saw 2bedroom Units In Both Sections. Very Nice Units, Huge Says Sleeps 6 But Easy 8. 3 Full Bathrooms. I Bought A Two Bedroom At 1 Very Cheaply 531 Mainteance Fees

The 2 Side Has A New Gym, Game Room And Is Nice It Is A Short Walk From One, Two Pools. The Beach Looked Pretty Good For Pv. There Are Shows Everynight.

It Is In A Great Location Close To Mega. The Second Closest Timeshare To The Malecon. The Sheraton Where I Am Now Is The Closest.

Plaza Pelicanos- is it separate from Shell Vacations Club?

I tried to deposit our week 46 for Plaza Pelicanos into RCI Points for 2008. They said they would not accept it because it is a Shell Vacation Club property.

We visited the resort last week and my husband asked about the tunnel between the two buildings. They said it was removed because now they are separate properties.

I saw our unit and really like it because it is ground floor right outside of the pool area. But I would like to deposit the 2009 week to RCI Points if possible. Do you think RCI advised me incorrectly? Because I have seen that the Shell Vacations Club lists Plaza Pelicanos. So maybe I should have specified which building?

SVC is part of the RCI points system you cannot deposit the week as PFD.

We are at Plaza Pelicanos this week. My current understanding is a company with a name like Situr owned many resorts including Plaza Pelicanos, Villa Vallarta across the street, the John Neucom Tennis Club etc.

About 1999 that company went bankrupt. In 2000 the bankruptcy court sold 'packages' of resorts/contracts units etc. The new owner honors our contract.

I brought my timeshare files with me. It was so confusing because there the names included Villa Vallarta, John Neucom Tennis Club, Plaza las Glorias, Sun Club, Plaza Pelicanos etc.

I am impressed that they will honor the 10 Sun Club bonus week certificates even though Sun Club is no longer in business.

Now if I can just find out more about one of our resorts in Mazatlan that was sold by the bankruptcy court in October 2008. It is now on its 3rd owner. Maybe they sent a letter to us but I won't have my mail forwarded until early December.
