    Was Here From July 19th To July 26th I Bought 1200 Points Here For Very Little Which Will Get Me Two 3bedroom Units Every Summer. Got A Tip That All The Owners Were Bailing Out . The Fees Went Up From 48 Cents A Point To Over A Dollar Recently. They Oversold Points So Many Owners Cant Touch This Place Dec To April. I Knew I Could Get July Anytime And The Best Units So I Bought. I Bring My Wifes Family Who Is From Guadajara And They Loved It. Our First Time 20 People

    Had The Only 3bedroom With A Jacuzzi. Tremendous One. The Little Ones Loved It But Only Owners Can Touch This Unit. The Other Units Are All Nice Junior Suites To 3bedroom Units. This Place Is Issolated So Its A Great Place To Kick Back.

    Need To Go To The Mega Store By Taxi And Stock Up On Groceries Immediately.15 Minutes The Area Is Booming. New Condos There And In Buscerias. This Area Is What Nv Was 5 Years Ago.

    The Timeshare Was Bought Out By A Compamy Called Fairmont Who Has 7 Other Properties Two New Buildings Will Be Built With A New Pool. They Will Be Selling The 175 Lockout Units By Weeks Instead Of Points And The Point Owners Can Use Them To Get Into The New Units But Not The Fairmont Properties.

    Restaurant Is Ok, Beach Is Excellent Store Has Basics. A New Laundry Room Was Just Built.

    I Have The Same Two Units For Next Year Was Considering The Penthouse Which Cost 1200 Points 3600 Sq Feet

    My Units Have A Great Ocean View. I Reccomend This Place For Those Who Are Not Looking For Too Much Action But A Relaxing Time. There Are Many Deals Available For This Resort.

    Hi Buff,

    After reading your informative post about rancho banderas, I am assuming that if I were looking for an exchange with DAE for 4 consecutive weeks from April to May it would be tough to pull? As owners themselves have a hard time getting in during this time Dec to April?

    I was not under that idea until I read your post. I had been seeing some weeks go to waste on DAE in the past so I figured it would be an easy enough exchange to pull.

    Please give me your opinion if this is a do-able exchange or if I should be seriously looking elsewhere..

      many of the owners are depositing with trading places and dae. my reccomendation is to check with them and ask about prior deposits.

      there are many canadians and eurpeans who prefer this area along with the other beach towns near by

      have you also called interval to ask an experienced vc during day tours about deposit history during those months.

      will be returning home aug 5th and may have some time to check around-im guessing that from dec to april the trading power of a deposit from rancho must be strong so some owners must grab them and deposit them.

      i would consider trading into playa del sol in nuevo vallarta nut only a one or two units. plenty of availability
