  • Photo of a really cute little girl on the Royals website :)

    Hi everyone!

    Here's the link:

    http://www.royalresorts.com/gallery.php

Click on Club Internacional de Cancun, and check out picture number 2. That's my little Sarah and her sand castle, taken yesterday at VCI by their roving photographer.

Anyone know how to copy that photo, by the way? I can't copy it by right clicking...

    Sharon

          Wow Thats cool

Sharon I could not right click to save it either. Emmy how did you save it? Did you go to edit select all the copy? Sharon you may want Emmy to post it on our new Photo server as it will serve as a host if you want to re-post the picture on other websites.
Hope you had a great time.

Frank, I had the picture on the monitor screen and clicked on "prt scr" and then copied it in Paint and saved it. Very simple.

I will post it with Sharon's permission or email it to her and she can post it. I have a photo image with the text and without the text too.

              Hi Emmy,

Emmy you are tricky. I did not think about that. That is why you are our picture shrinker. Would it have worked the way I was saying?

Sharon already has the two pictures.

No, you could not right-click that image because it was a Macromedia flash file and I don't know how to save that.

Emmy I was not asking about the right click save method. I was saying to go to edit select all, Then go back to edit and hit the copy button? Would this have worked?

BTW Sharon I just posted in the NY forum the pictures on the NY gathering.

                      Sarah's picture

Here is Sarah's picture. I only will show the link here as she gave me permission to post it on our photo server. I am a little hesitant to show the real picture here unless she likes to have it here.

Please, feel free to delete this post, if necessary.

Frank, I will reply to your question next but have to write it out first. There are a few steps involved.

Aren't you getting ready for your trip yet????

Frank, I hope that I am clear. I learned by trial and error.

                        1. Take a picture of your monitor screen by clicking on "prt scr" (next to F12)

                        2. Go to Start, open Paint, click on "Edit" and choose "Paste"

                        3. Now you "select" (little square mark under edit) the part of the picture you want to keep. Copy this to a new paint file by clicking paste again.

                        4. Go to File and save as a JPEG file.

Try it and you will see that it is easy.

That trick also works to capture images from Google Earth. That's how I created the picture of Waita Reservoir and Koloa Town a couple of days ago.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

                          “You shouldn't wear that body.”

You are the clever one...can you imagine how dangerous we would be as a group if we actually knew how to use these devices we are typing on???
