Is the Entertainment Plus 2x1 Discount Card a good deal? Is it only good for Dinner? Do children need them, like 15, 12, 8 & 6 year olds?

Depends on how you use it. It has always saved me lots on meals- but then I've always had it when I went for 2 or 3 weeks. Best bet is to check the site for what restaurants are participating- usually one use will cover the cost of the card and the rest is money saved. I'm not sure if they can be used for kids, but you could inquire.

The card is a good deal if you're willing to eat at the restaurants that offer the 2 for 1. The list has gone down over years past, but one meal will pay for the cost of the card.
It is good for lunch or dinner at most places. If your kids will eat a regular entree you can buy a second card and use get two free meals per table.

Has anyone used the card lately?
How does the cost of excursions compare to what is readily available?

The last time I checked, the trips/excursions were the lowest price thru Eplus. Casa Maguay(formrly OK Maguay) recently closed and it was on the card (no loss at all IMHO).Check out the current participants: Entertainment Plus 2x1 card - Participating Restaurants - Cancun Mexico

We used it 3 times on my recent trip. At Rainforest, Hard Rock, and the Shrimp Bucket. If dining before 5 p.m., it is 2 for 1. After 5, you have to buy an additional item such as an appetizer or dessert to get the free entree. We had 4 in our party and one card, and they still made us buy an appetizer or dessert at the Shrimp Bucket. We thought that the addtional two entrees we purchased would have sufficed, but no.
