Back to the Grand Velas next week. That resort is so beautiful and we are so pampered there but the staff here is very friendly too and we like it here because of our view and we are so close to downtown as well as the Marina Vallarta with the lighthouse (El Faro) and many restaurants. There are several timeshares near the marina on the beach.

Forget the beach here but the swimming pool is very nice. There is such a choice of restaurants too near the hotel. We tried a few new ones for us and one is very close to the Buganvilias so you can walk to it. It is called "La Langosta Feliz" or "Happy Lobster". They have no web site as I just checked but here is a review. The food was very good and they give you a free bottle of white wine when you return. We always like El Arrayan close to the Malecon and go at least once while we are here. There was only one restaurant open here tonight at the hotel and the bar. It is very quiet unless there is a convention like we had last week. Four weeks are over before you know.

Pat, I am glad you made it home safe and sound. We will meet again one day! Your husband is very nice too.

We visited Karen at the Villa del Mar yesterday and we had fun. We didn't bring our bathing suit but the water felt very nice and the pool was sparkling clean. All pools are very clean in Puerto Vallarta, we have noticed. Here is our picture.
