    hey I have a studio on the beach in puerto vallarta costa sur it used to be costa vida and have owned it for 20 years .last year I traded it for the first time.I gave up 2 weeks plus about $200 to upgrade to a 2 bed 2 ba at papakea on maui for 1 week I want to know if I did allright or could I have done better .I went through trading places

    You did great for Maui. There are tons of extra vacations and Last Calls on RCI for Puerto Vallarta.

      I think you made a good deal, more than fair. I doubt you'd have found another exchange company to be so flexible with you.

        I agree with Glitter and BBQ.....to get a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit on Maui for a studio is a good deal.

        I exchanged a 1 bedroom Mayan Palace for a 1 bedroom Kahana Falls. It was ok, but not a MP and it was not on the beach. The MP week was Christmas/New Year and I had to book 20 months ahead, plus pay the $164 exchange fee.

          I do think Costa Vida gave them 2 studio weeks plus the money I still don't think that is a bad trade From what I have seen in the past the maintenance fees at Costa Sur are really on the inexpensive side..
