You can choose from taking two units the same week or two consecutive weeks. For this promotion they have suspended the 1-in-5 rule and you don't need to exchange comparable properties. I just used a studio in Ixtapa to book two consecutive weeks in a 2BR in Puerto Vallarta for the last two weeks of October. All it cost was the exchange fees for the two weeks ($194 each). That's a great deal as far as I am concerned. We have stayed at this Mayan before--in the Marina-- and love it.
Hope some of you others can take advantage if this also.
P.S. No, I'm not afraid to go to Mexico because of the violence. Please don't waste your breath. Do you avoid going to Florida because there is gang violence in New York City???
