      I was thinking Pueto Mujeres. Gotta be somewhat newish, there wasn't anything of note north of Cancun 15 years ago.

        Just found out we need to stay at the resort where the wedding is at for at least the wedding day. So we will stay there Saturday and Sunday and leave on the next Saturday. So that leaves us with a choice of Mayan Palace or Rvc'S Club Regina Cancun (#2662) which is smaller and used to be affiliated with Westin? At least the Club Regina is walking distance to snorkeling near club Med. Pretty big difference...huge resort or small resort. Anyone ever go to Club Regina? The reviews are decent and recent. No Grand Mayan as no 1 BR available for Sunday check in. Oh well.

          I have stayed at the Club Regina when it was westin, Nice resturants inside but pool was small, You are near the end or beging of the stirp BTW I got this with Priceline very cheap, Under $100 a night
