It opened on Thanksgiving night; we tried to eat there last night but there was an hour wait so we left.

Captain's Cove

My family of five went the 1st. week in January 2007.The food was delicious , the service was a tad slow(however we were seated outside at night and enjoyed the weather and poncho and willie )and then spent some time in their club area listening to live music.
We had no wait . I had made a reservation a day before we went !!
I suggest everyone goes .

It seems to be a very popular place, but I don't like waiting in line and I don't particularly care for their meals. I've eaten there a couple of times and was not at all impressed.

I have been hearing some negative comments about Captains cove.

Was there this past Friday (25th).Had their Surf and Turf . Included a very good filet and lobster tail (caribbean) Will not be on par to a Puerto Madero,Cambalaches or Ruth Chris but was outstanding for the price. With Royal discount was in neighborhood of $32.Heard compliments on the Coconut Shrimp. Pasta dishes only looked ok. Service was good..would not consider excellent but never had to wait too long for a request. Also did the Sunday Buffet...exactly the same being served at any other of the Royal breakfest buffets. All in all would certainly return
