  • Tenbury going the way of The Seapointer

I own a Peak week (#27) at Tenbury. I received a letter from the resort management, First Resorts, saying they were planning either a 1)S.A. to refurbish the units or 2) converting the units into apartments. Sound familiar Seapointer owners?

I am a former owner at The Seapointer and sold my unit, cheap, just in time. It may be too late for me, and the other Tenbury owners, now.

I wrote First Resorts today to see how I can deed the unit back to them. I'll report back.

Anyone have a suggestion on how I can dump this week? The levy is pretty low but the S.A. looms big. Everything is up in the air. With "Bullfrog" Lamont involved things don't look positive. Eh, Carolinian?

For those not familiar with Lamont, they should read posts 2, 4, and 7 of this thread:

    http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum...dikhololo.html

2 is an article from the Johannesburg Star newspaper and 4 and 7 are all the posts on the subject from the old Crimeshare website, which was run by officers of the Timeshare Consumers Association of the UK.

I received an email from Tenbury saying that they were mailing me paperwork so I can deed my week back to them. I wonder what the charges will be?

        Anyone else own at Tenbury?

Sounds promising. I may have asked this sometime in the past, but what is the email you used for 1st Resorts? I need to try this too. Best of luck.

Got the paperwork in Dec. and there was NO fee. Haven't decided what to do with it yet.
