Closed yesterday at 8.11- the highest in 5 years. Should it continue to fall against the dollar or the dollar show some strength, there may be a resurgence of SA ownership for US timesharers.

Not sure of the economics of your second sentence though. Isn't RCI the architypical market-place driven supply-and-demand? If many US residents purchase in RSA only to trade with and not to use, the trading power of RSA timeshares will drop even further (another Black Sunday) as the market place becomes flooded....
My advice is to use this favourable exchange rate to go there! Your dollar isn't going very far in Europe these days, so go to South Africa instead!

Some South African resorts continue to trade well with RCI and also trade with the independents. As the levy cost falls they become cheaper traders- until inflation and a turnaround in the Rand makes it more expensive.

Lowveld Lodge Maint Fees
Hi Dori, I have hundreds of customers who have problems with first resorts, the trick is to send a email to their general email box info@firstresorts.co.za
Make sure you include your name, address, phone, RCI#, resort name, week and unit #
If that does not work try using a different email program.
