Well, some were calling for it. 
It has an affect on our favorite area, SW FL.
Years ago, season did not start until almost February, but that has moved earlier over the years. To January 15. To January 1. To Christmas. It's to the point where nothing is showing up in the 11-Day Window for Week 52. Week 51 yes, but not 52.
Now with pre-Christmas ugliness, look for season to start starting in early December.
Many here with Florida places, and there are many here with Florida places, now go early and come back late, even Thanksgiving to May or June.
