No Bonanza for me. And I've got a lot of weeks listed in my account. As I said before, I don't think I'm missing out on much, those new A/Cs aren't worth much. And Wacky, you're right - II's new A/C policy stinks and doesn't make much sense. They are discouraging prime deposits in advance.

Yeah, the guide said they send out the offers at random and it was just the luck of the draw which one you got. Wouldn't it make sense to offer all the deals to everyone?

(Although at first she said they sent the AC offers to people who had not deposited anything? Meaning, I think, that I didn't get the AC offer b/c I had already deposited the 1br side of my lockoff.)

LOL....We need Maria to check her account. Could it have something to do with the Marriott Corporate account?

My account is not actually set up yet, but I believe it's in process.

Nope no A/C promo offered to me. Only $25 off getaways. I checked both accounts - regular and DC corporate II account. I called to ask about it, and the guide said we have a lot of different promos going on.

I then tried to book an XYZ, but the guide hung up on me!

I have never been able to book an XYZ, the guides always tell me some restriction or another, but I will call back tomorrow when I have more patience.

Here's how it looks: I've circled where it is.

Looking at the fine print of the offer, I've bolded the line that might explain why some people can't see the offer? Although I don't think the II website is that bright.

                        More weeks to use?

I see the Bonus offer in my account.

While I really need to make an exchange using a week that permenently expires June 30, I need another week like a hole in my head.

I assume the bonus week would be good for 1 year.

Is Palm Springs and San Diego on the grid and if so what months?

I have a 2br July week in Williamsburg to deposit. II sent me an offer months ago where they would give me an AC for a SPRING week. No offers for a summer week...although I know at least one other owner who got an AC for a summer week at the same resort.

Today I called and asked for an AC for this week, and the guide said, "No, your offer is $25 off a Getaway." I said, "I'm not happy, and my membership expires this summer. I have this week to deposit. Do you want to check with a supervisor to be sure that you can't give me an AC?"

She went and checked and came back and assured me that my best offer was the $25 off the Getaway. They will not give me any other offers. Period.

Interval makes me crazy. It seems like everyone else has a totally different experience with them!
If I recall you own at Kings Creek - same as me. You are correct, they did offer ACs for deposits, but if I recall correctly the cut off might have been mid June. Made no sense to me either.

Edited to post that my offer is for $25 off also!

Last time they did something like this - it was a bonus week with a Getaway purchase. Did it, and then the price of the getaway dropped by $100 after the promotion ended. The AC was strict - but we always head to Orlando in the fall and used it for a Marriott. Worth it for us.

Yes, I got that spring offer. And I remembered you mentioning that you had gotten an AC. But I had already reserved a summer week, and at first we were going to use it, and now we're not.

Today I got an offer in the mail--they'll give me a bonus week if I renew for three or five years. Not excited.

Thanks for posting this. I thought I might be looking at weeks that were too high-demand, so I went back and looked at the Poconos in the off-season. Nada. Zilcho. Zip.
